Do I need a business account?
For Zelle, usually yes if you are an LLC. For Venmo/CashApp, you can use personal accounts but check their terms regarding business use.
How does Rentora know they paid?
Two ways: 1) Our Reconciliation Agent sees the deposit in your bank feed, or 2) The tenant marks it as "Paid" and uploads a screenshot.
Is it safe?
Yes, because these are direct bank-to-bank or app-to-app transfers. Rentora acts as the record-keeper, adding a layer of organization.
What about partial payments?
You can control this setting. If you want to block partial payments (e.g., during eviction), we recommend disabling these methods temporarily.
Does it send receipts?
Yes! Once a payment is matched or confirmed, Rentora automatically emails the tenant a professional rent receipt.
Can I also accept credit cards?
